My introduction in first draft.

Voting is a human's common right to decide something as democratic way.  As democracy has been developed, voting and voting system have really big influence. However, nowadays, many people don't know how voting and voting system are important and powerful. Actually, one vote can change the world. For example, when French revolution, Louis XVI's execution was decided by voting system. As technology is developed, many people said that evolution of voting system is necessary with reasoning analog voting system's problems. E-voting system, therefore, has been issued as one of  alternatives. However, some people said that there are much more serious problem on e-voting system. Therefore, the application of e-voting system has been delayed. In my opinion, we should replace analog voting system with e-voting system

Week 3 Objective - Research: example of e-voting system

Research : example of e-voting system

Source : in Italy, there is conflict that is about independence between Italy and Veneto which is city of Italy.
I found this source to search about Scotland , England and their vote

My TopicShould we  replace analog voting system with e-voting system?
My argument : we should replace analog voting system with e-voting system

What I hope to learn from this source: the real example of e-voting system and participants of it.

4 millions of Italian participated on e-voting system whether separate Italy to Veneto
article from news

Notes:
  1. Europe has used e-voting system
  2. Participants who vote with e-voting system were higher compared with participants who vote with analog voting system

Final Thoughts:  Europe has used e-voting system because of its benefit.

Week 3. Articulation

Articulation

1) My argument

I want to argue that e-voting system should replace analog voting system.  analog voting system has many problems and limits our right to vote. I want to emphasize what e-voting system is, what e-voting system's virtues are.

2) How I found my argument

My first research question was, can physical punishment change human mind to behave correctly in school? At first it seems good to write an essay because there are many cases which is about punishment's effect. However, as I keep researching, I  found that punishment had been illegal because punishment can be a violent. So I decided to change my topic and I found some interesting information that is about vote because we had president election last year. Therefore, I choose should e-voting system replace analog voting system.
and my argument is e-voting system replace analog voting system because I heard a story about disabled people who want to vote but can't

3) New research questions What do you still need to know? What is your research plan?

a) What are the strength and weakness of e-voting system?
b) What are the strength and weakness of analog voting system?
c) Which countries are using e-voting system?

I'll keep researching for my essay

4) Connections to the Harvard Sampler How is your argument connected to the Harvard Sampler? ANY CONNECTION IS VALID. Please focus on choosing a good argument first, then think about how it is related to the Harvard Sampler. I will help you think of the connection if necessary.

Chapter 2 of The Harvard Sampler :The Internet and Hieronymus Bosch: Fear, Protection, and Liberty in Cyberspace has many connections with my arguments. First, it obviously is directly related to the internet. Second, it can connect to internet and emotion that is about human emotion who uses internet. This is related with voting system because e-voting system is made to use human emotion that don't want to go and process with one computer with all of matter.

Research : percentage of participants who vote with analog voting system

Source : percentage of participants who vote with analog voting system
http://search.naver.com/search.naver?where=nexearch&query=%EB%8C%80%EC%84%A0&sm=top_hty&fbm=1&ie=utf8

<percentage of participants who vote in presidential election with analog voting system>

My TopicShould we  replace analog voting system with e-voting system?
My argument : we should replace analog voting system with e-voting system

What I hope to learn from this source:
proportion of participants who vote with analog voting system to compare with participants who vote with e-voting system

Notes:
1. the number of participants who vote analog voting system is decreasing
2. people should go to vote
3. disabled people can't vote
4. money that is used for analog voting system is tremendous

Final Thoughts: percentage of participants who vote with analog voting system is decreasing for many reasons like 2,3,4
